If your computer is opening all of the PDFs in Google Chrome rather then Adobe, you have accidentally told your system to use Google Chrome to be the default PDF viewer.
What you need to do is find any PDF file on your desktop, it will look like the “Google Chrome” browser icon at this time (but end with .PDF).
Right click the PDF file and choose “Open with…”
Choose the option “Choose another app”
Select “Adobe Reader” and check the box “Always use this app..”
That should change all your PDF icons back to the Adobe icon and it should open with the correct application now.
